The Gamer Tag ♡

Hello hello hello! 

Once again, I've started a blog and neglected it pretty much instantly, surprise surprise! I could list excuses for ever but in short I just became lazy. Today I thought it would be nice to do a tag, even though I haven't been tagged by anyone... ah well! I got the questions off Peach Milky's Video - you really should subscribe to her, she is so sweet and her channel is amazing. Anyway, back to the tag! When I get the time I tend to play a lot of video games and have been playing them for many years so I thought this tag would be perfect. 

1. What is your all time favourite video game? My all time favourite video game has got to be Animal Crossing: New Leaf as it is just so adorable and addictive! I've been playing this game on and off since it's release and I just love it. My town isn't the prettiest but I don't mind! One of the best things is that you can play with your friends and play mini games! So much cuteness in one game and I can't wait to play Happy Home Designer when it comes out tomorrow! ~ please don't be late Amazon ~ 

2. What is your current favourite video game? My current favourite video game is the Sims 4! I'm really enjoying it so much recently after finally learning how to add custom content to the game. Creating Sims is just so fun! I'm obsessed with starting with no money at all for a Young Adult sim and working my way up without cheats and a job! I'm also really loving The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD and Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U at the moment too. 

3. What is your favourite video game genre? Definitely RPG (Role Playing Game) although I do like simulation games

4. How long have you been playing video games? I played video games from quite an early age, my older brother used to play video games before me, so I'd say probably since I was about 4 or 5

5. What is the first video game you every played? I think it was Rugrats: Search for Reptar on the Playstation One

6. What game have you clocked the most hours into? Hmm... this one is difficult to say, it's a toss up between The Sims 2 or The Sims 3 as I have gone through many phrases of obsession with the two

7. What is your longest gaming session? Probably between 12-16 hours! From the moment I get up till the moment I go to bed

8. Who is your favourite game developer? Nintendo! But I also adore Square Enix as Kingdom Hearts is such a beautiful game

9. Who is your favourite hero character from a game? LINK <3 

10. Who is your favourite game villain? I really like Ripto from Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer as I always thought he was funny as a child or possibly Dr Cortex from the Crash Bandicoot series 

11. Who is your most hated character of any game? Clayton from Kingdom Hearts as I'm pretty certain I still haven't defeated him as I was pretty bad and haven't played it in forever! 

12. What gaming systems do you own? I own a PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U, DS Lite and a 3DS. 

13. What is your favourite gaming system and why? It's a toss up between the PS2 and PS3 as I just love the gameplay on both of them. I think I'd have to say the PS2 though as I grew up with it and put many hours into it.

14. Do you prefer to play as guy or girl characters? Girl characters

15. Do you follow walk through's or play through on your own? I try my best to play through on my own but if I get stuck I use a walk through. Normally if I complete a game, I would then try to get 100% by following a walk through. 

16. Have you ever been to a gaming convention? I've never been to one specifically for gaming but I've been to an anime convention years ago in Telford where gaming has been included in the event. 

17. What games are you most excited for to come out in the future? Kingdom Hearts 3 

18. What is your best memory of a video game? My favourite memories of video gaming are from when I used to go round one of my best friend's house everyday and try to complete games together and to battle each other. We played a lot of Dead or Alive, Spyro, Harry Potter and Big Brain Academy and I miss this so much. 

19. What's your worst memory of a video game? Most bad memories in terms of video games is when the file/game stops working and you have to lose all the data you put your hard work into :( especially as it's something you can't control. 

20. Which video game character do you see yourself as, or if you had to be represented by a video game character, who would it be? I don't see myself as her but I really adore Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy as she is so cute!! So being represented by her would be great :3

YesStyle Shopping Haul! ♡ Skin Care and Hair Care Products!

Hey hey hey! ♡

I recently made an order on YesStyle and I thought I would share with you what I bought from there. I love reading and watching haul/shopping videos and posts, as I love shopping and going online to see what are good products to buy. I have always wanted to try Asian beauty products as I always hear good things about them, especially skincare. So I thought I'd buy a few products and see what they were like! 

This is what I ended up buying! Many of them I have had recommendations by friends or Youtubers that I love watching! In particular Bubzbeauty as I think she is amazing and will believe pretty much anything she says :') I made my order on the 6th September and it arrived on 22nd September which I thought was really good as it was coming all the way from China! Especially as some of the products had to be ordered in, as they were not ready to ship from their main warehouse. I was a bit nervous about being charged customs but I wasn't, so I was super happy. 

I am absolutely obsessed with hair care products and trying to keep my hair healthy and looking nice. Essential is a Japanese hair care brand and I had read several reviews about how good the products are! Bubzbeauty swears by the Honey Damage Care Treatment Mask and I thought I'd give it a go! I haven't tried any of these products yet as I'm trying to use up some of my other ones but I am excited for them. The other two are the Treatment Milk and the Hair Serum.

Another Japanese product I wanted to try were these steam eye masks! They are the fresh rose scented Steam Eye Masks. I heard about these from watching a video by Sharla In Japan, in her recommendations video. They heat up to around 40 degrees Celsius. I tried one the other day before I went to bed and I found it really relaxing! The fresh rose scent was quite light and pleasant smelling so it wasn't over powering. The heat wasn't too much either and it was a really enjoyable experience. Overall I would totally recommend them if you wanted to treat yourself on a pampering day!

Another product I was desperate to try is the Annie's Way Hyaluronic Acid Mask. Once again a recommendation from Bubzbeauty's vlog videos as it sounded like such an interesting and unique product. I am still yet to try it though but when I have tried it a few times I may do a review on it for you guys! 

I have never tried a sheet mask before, so I wanted to try some. Sheet masks are an idea unique to Asian skincare, as I know here in England we are more accustom to mud masks. I bought the My Beauty Diary Whitening Masks and the Clear Turn Vitamin C Masks. So far I have only tried the Vitamin C masks and they were very moisturisng! They also left my skin feeling firm afterwards. There are 30 in the tub so they will last me quite a while. 

The final product I purchased was the Biore Foaming Facial Wash for acne prone skin. I have never tried a foam cleanser before and this one had good reviews on YesStyle's website so I thought I'd try it! I have nothing to say for it yet though as I haven't tried it. 

YesStyle also gave me some free samples to try which is really exciting, as free samples aren't a big thing in England. The spatula is to be used with the Annie's Way mask, to help put the mask on evenly. The other two are Annie's Way Cactus Extract Mask and the other one is buy Skin Food Broccoli Cleansing Foam. I look forward to trying them!

Meet the Blogger! ♡♡

Hello there! ♡

Nice to meet you :) My name is Charlotte and I am the one who shall be on posting here!  I have been meaning to make a new blog for ages but I always put it off (as procrastination is my best friend). I hope to make this blog as interesting as possible for you guys! 

This first post will just be a little bit about me and what I am like as a person. 

This is what I look like most of the time! I'm a very casual person in the what that I look but I am hoping to change that once I become more confident with fashion and beauty things. 

I am nineteen years old, born on the 11th November 1994 and I live in the middle of England in Birmingham. I have lived here all my life and despite it's many flaws I have grown to love it! I'm currently in my second year of university studying Psychology and it is great. Soon I will be learning Counselling and Criminal Psychology within my course and I am really looking forward to it. I've been with the love of my life for nearly 6 and a half years and he is an absolute sweetheart, he will no doubt be in a blog post at some point :) 

My absolute dream is to visit Japan and spend at least 2 weeks there. Ever since the tender age of 12 I have wanted to go and it would mean the world to me! I am hoping to go in 2016 or 2017. I am a huge enthusiast for the culture and all aspects of it; pop culture, fashion, music, art etc etc.

On this blog I am hoping to post about all sorts of different things; shopping hauls, beauty reviews, fashion segments, monthly favourites, recommendations and my progress in losing weight and so much more.
